Some other websites that are worth testing out if you are trying to make money from your traffic are amazon and clickbank. These two websites have many different affiliate products in every niche imaginable.

You must remember that if you decide to open and run an online business it is important to be ready for years of work. No one makes it online overnight it is a long and tedious process. Usually with free scripts you will have to set up a paypal.com account which will help you take payments from your potential clients. If you are looking for a free directory script go to Google and type in “free directory script”. The script I am using for my web directory is Site Script and is really easy to install and use. All you need to do is download the script and follow the install directions.

When you get your directory set up you can go into the admin area and choose what type of links you will accept. The only way to make money from the directory is to uncheck free links and reciprocal links leaving only paid links active. In the dashboard you can set the price per link and the length of the link. Personally I recommend setting the price low and the length to permanent. If your directory is new you should set the length to permanent and the price around one dollar. Make sure to market your website building links and increasing page rank to make the directory more attractive to webmasters and bloggers.
